Aim of the program
Chaco Alert provides air ambulance services for critically ill patients in some of the most remote regions of the Paraguayan Chaco.
How the program operates
Once the medical center has assessed the patient’s condition as critical, an attending physician will contact Chaco Alert to request an emergency evacuation to a specialised hospital in a fully equipped air ambulance. The patient can then be airlifted to the specialized hospital with the care and urgency required.
When Chaco Alert intervenes
This service can only be provided when the patient is in a healthcare center allied to the Chaco Alert program.
Requests will be made exclusively by a health professional who accurately explains the situation of the person requiring the transfer.
